Working in a changing and dynamic working environment, the People Partner will identify and promote new ways of working and empowering approaches to people management in support of delivering on the business and people plan.
What You'll Do
* Collaborate with and coach people managers and other key stakeholders to create human resources solutions for their teams.
* Handle employee queries and provide advice on complex policy and process matters.
* Provide support for managers through case management activities related to performance, misconduct, injury management, organisational change, and other employment matters as they arise.
* Provide high-level advice and solutions on people-related matters, including training and development, communications, performance and conduct, resource planning, or other services.
* Deliver HR-related training, including leadership development programs and inductions.
About You
* Has a degree-level qualification with at least four years of subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of tertiary qualifications and relevant professional experience in HR;
* Knowledge and experience in a large organisation and its intricacies and an ability to communicate in business terms.
* Proven ability to coach managers through performance management and complex case management.
* High-level analytic and problem-solving skills, the capacity to successfully deliver high-quality outcomes and meet deadlines.
* Proven experience working in a shifting environment and ability to adapt to change, including the ability to operate with limited supervision and written processes.
* Ability to contribute to and manage complex projects related to workforce planning, workforce management and organisational change.
* Demonstrated ability to manage people issues sensitively, confidentially and in line with procedural fairness, ensuring natural justice.
Appointment is contingent upon receipt of a satisfactory National Criminal History check and NT Working with Children Clearance
Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Employee Level 7/8. The base salary will be in the range of $96,559 - $122,491 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $112,974 - $143,314 per annum inclusive of 17% superannuation.
