Job Description:
This role is responsible for developing, implementing and supporting hardware and software systems for power plant control environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, analyzing, installing and configuring software and hardware systems to ensure ultra-high availability and security.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement hardware and software systems that support power plant control systems
* Analyze and design software and hardware systems to meet the needs of ultra-high availability environments
* Configure and test software and hardware systems to ensure optimal performance
* Maintain and troubleshoot software and hardware systems as needed
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science
* 2-4 years relevant experience in technology administration
* Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, DNP3.0, OPC)
* Familiarity with Siemens SPPA-T3000, T2000, Omnivise, PSC7 Distributed Control Systems
* Solid understanding of network concepts (routing, sub-netting, VLANs) and cyber security principles (firewall configuration, network monitoring/detection applications)
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with after-hours on-call support
* Ability to travel to sites and handle flexible working hours
* Demonstrated knowledge of OT solutions and planning/designing/configuring them
