**About The Position**

Reporting to the Supervisor Technical Services, you will assist in the efficient operations of the Technical Services department.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Conduct testing of coining and blanking products for a range of physical determinants, including white spot and red spot testing, and assay samples, and report these results in a timely manner.
- Generating a quality certificate of external product.
- Carry out test work relating to R&D and process improvement projects and communicate results to key stakeholders.
- Assist other departments in resolving technical issues that interfere with production demands.
- Perform additional tasks, including but not limited to shower alarm testing, vapour testing, calibration of equipment, and assisting production with recoveries at stocktake.
- Maintain the SDS database.
- Participate as a member of the emergency response team.
- Operation of the PVD unit.
- Ensure own safety and health at work and avoid adversely affecting the safety or health of any other person through any act or omission at work.

**About You**:

- A team player who can work collaboratively with their colleagues.
- Strong work ethic and a can-do attitude
- Previous experience working in a laboratory environment.
- Certificate 4 in laboratory techniques and science background will be highly regarded.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and sound computer knowledge
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screening.
