JLL is a global leader in helping clients envision where people live, work, play, shop, and eat.What this job involvesAs a Senior Facilities Manager you will be responsible for the overall performance of the Elanor Brisbane commercial portfolio of properties and the services that ensure safe operations and comfort to the occupants.
The role provides hands-on leadership of engineering services staff and operations, with a focus on energy sustainability, ongoing building commissioning and operational improvements, strategic delivery of lifecycle asset planning, project management, through to the daily operation of all property services with a focus on sustainable and economic performance and constant improvement.A snapshot of the role:Manage the site operational teams across all Elanor QLD properties along with your own allocated facilities management sites, including technical third-party service providers, providing leadership and guidance to ensure activities are prioritized and diligently and efficiently completed.Project management of small to mid-size site projects up to $50K for your own managed sites and assist facilities managers with their projects if required.Establish and maintain a sound professional working relationship with our client, including provision of regular updates and meeting attendance.In collaboration with others, prepare annual property operations and capital works budgets and monitor and update budgets on a quarterly basis.Identify and address any operational aspects that require attention; review the standard of presentation and cleaning and address any issues identified.Liaise with tenants on operational matters and services delivery related to base building.Be on call 24 hours, 7 days a week to respond to any after-hours emergency.Before you apply: what we are looking forYou will have proven facilities management experience in a commercial environment and be ready to push your career forward managing a high-profile portfolio.
A sound understanding of sustainability is required and you should have good knowledge of property systems including familiarity with building services software procedures and knowledge of occupational health & safety legislation and requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are important; you should be able to work independently, multi-task, and manage your time to meet deadlines.
