Digital Marketing Coordinator (Maternity Leave Coverage)
We're seeking a passionate Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Leave Coverage). This role is ideal for someone with a strong flair for digital marketing who's eager to broaden skills across the broader marketing spectrum. As a key member of the team, you'll be involved in driving digital campaigns, developing engaging content, supporting strategic proposals and creative projects, and strengthening our brand presence to contribute to new business growth.
Operating in a business-to-business (B2B) environment, our marketing efforts span across industries such as mining, oil and gas, resources, and construction. This means your work will be varied, impactful, and closely aligned with major projects and clients in these sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update website content, working closely with the SEO agency to implement best practices, optimise SEO, and leverage Google Analytics for actionable insights.
Support in the creation and development of new websites using WordPress platforms.
Assist in crafting copy, designing visuals, and compiling strategic presentations and proposals, demonstrating strong graphic design skills to deliver impactful materials.
Create engaging content across blogs, social media, news articles, and short-form videos.
Manage and oversee social media accounts for multiple subsidiaries across platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, with responsibility for performance tracking and reporting.
Ideal Candidate Profile
A proven passion and background in digital marketing, with the curiosity and drive to expand into broader marketing disciplines.
Highly organised with exceptional time management skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all outputs.
Technically proficient across key tools and platforms, including Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Rush), Microsoft Office (with strong PowerPoint skills), Canva, WordPress, and social media scheduling tools.
Demonstrated ability to successfully juggle multiple priorities, delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in digital marketing, content creation, and social media management.
