Strategic Procurement Lead
This senior role oversees the efficient and compliant acquisition of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop procurement strategies aligned with organisational goals.
* Manage Purchase to Pay (P2P) team for timely order processing and invoice reconciliation.
* Lead end-to-end procurement processes from sourcing to contract execution.
* Collaborate with project engineers on scope development.
* Identify and mitigate procurement risks while maintaining probity standards.
* Coordinate tender evaluations ensuring compliance, fairness, and business alignment.
* Support commercial negotiations for value-for-money outcomes.
* Provide expert guidance on contract management and performance monitoring.
* Maintain procurement templates within a Business Management System.
* Administer contracts database and produce procurement reports.
* Leverage preferred supplier arrangements at local, regional, and global levels.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Procurement experience in high public accountability organisations.
* Strong knowledge of procurement legislation, policies, and best practices.
* Extensive experience in complex operational or project environments.
