Senior Advisor - Program Delivery & Operations
We're seeking an experienced Senior Advisor to support the delivery and oversight of major transport infrastructure and road safety programs across a large-scale government portfolio.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring effective governance, reporting, and performance monitoring across high-value, state-wide initiatives in a complex, regulated environment.
You'll work closely with senior stakeholders to provide data-driven insights, maintain program controls, and support decision-making across multiple funding streams.
Location: Rockhampton, Queensland
Engagement: 12-Month Contract + extensions
What you'll be doing
Support delivery of major infrastructure and safety programs across a large portfolioPerform advanced data analysis to monitor program performance and identify risks/issuesDevelop and maintain reports and dashboards (Excel, Power BI) for senior stakeholdersCoordinate program reporting, approvals, and governance activitiesProvide detailed project and program status assessmentsMaintain program documentation, registers, and assurance artefactsDrive process improvements across multiple program streamsLiaise with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and complianceSupport senior leadership with insights to enable informed decision-making
What we're looking for
Demonstrated experience in program support, governance, or advisory roles within large-scale projectsStrong expertise in data analysis, reporting, and performance monitoringAdvanced skills in:Microsoft ExcelPower BI (or similar BI tools)Project/program management toolsExperience coordinating reporting cycles, approvals, and governance frameworksAbility to translate complex data into clear, actionable insightsStrong stakeholder engagement and communication skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
Nice to have
Experience within government or regulated environmentsExposure to transport infrastructure or safety-related programsFamiliarity with large-scale funding programs and compliance/reporting requirementsExperience supporting senior executives or Program Directors
