About the role
Mater Hospital Brisbane is seeking a permanent full time Operating Theatre Assistant to join our Perioperative team in South Brisbane. The Operating Theatre Assistant is a part of the perioperative team delivering consistent, high-quality care to adult and obstetric patients undergoing surgery.
This position supports our daily operations, and successful candidates need to be available for a 24/7 roster.
* Setting up the theatre for surgery with the required equipment
* Patient positioning and transfers
* Clean contaminated equipment and other used items as required
* General housekeeping duties e.g. cleaning beds, organising linen, restocking of equipment, and waste management
