**Job Summary:** As a field engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring safety and quality across the distribution network.
The primary objective of this position is to act as a key interface between field crews and the asset management team to identify, prioritize, and address safety concerns. You will lead the investigation and implementation of new equipment, materials, and work practices that improve safety outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with field crews and asset management teams to ensure effective capture, prioritization, and addressing of safety concerns.
* Lead investigations into incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
* Support the integration of practical field insights into asset standards, designs, and risk assessments.
* Develop and maintain relationships with field and office-based workers to strengthen Jemena's ability to proactively mitigate safety risks.
Requirements:
* Relevant tertiary qualification (Electrical Engineer with Chartered Engineer accreditation desirable)
* Experience in operating within the electrical environment with a strong focus on safety
* Developed strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
* Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with field and office-based workers
Preferred Qualifications:
* Chartered Engineer accreditation
