**Product Development Manager - Portfolio Insights**
The role of Product Development Manager - Portfolio Insights involves working with stakeholders to align product development with organisational objectives. This requires delivering strategic portfolio and product insights across various university course offers, ensuring strong commercial outcomes and growth against strategic imperatives.
Leveraging strong product development, product management and data analytics capabilities, the successful incumbent will identify, develop and deliver portfolio, product and market insights and recommendations through comprehensive market assessments and reporting.
The role works in close collaboration with a broad range of stakeholders including the Product team, Schools, academics and marketing segment squads.

Some key responsibilities include:
* Undertaking market research and analysing market intelligence to identify new commercial portfolio opportunities, determine the viability and sustainability of new products, and provide recommendations that ensure existing products maintain market relevance and differentiation.
* Delivering high-quality, detail-oriented, accurate and visually appealing product and portfolio market scans and assessments, both individually and collaboratively with members of the Product team.
* Working collaboratively with members of the Marketing team to deliver product updates and insights to support go-to-market activity.
* Developing well-crafted product descriptions, briefs and value propositions to ensure market resonance, and ensuring product changes are reviewed, captured and communicated to marketing colleagues.
* Providing robust product analysis and recommendations that support product enhancements and the delivery and optimisation of go-to-market activity.
Key requirements include:
* Demonstrated experience working at a high level with complex and large sets of data, interpreting this data to develop sound educational product and market analysis, and providing product and/or portfolio recommendations in line with organisational strategies.
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts to identify or optimise product solutions that meet market gaps and opportunities, and communicate these solutions in highly articulate and appropriately market-facing language.
* At least two years' experience in product development and management, marketing or related areas, ideally within the education sector.
* Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, creative, critical and solution-oriented thinking, and the ability to operate in a culture of continuous improvement and agile methodologies.
* Excellent written, oral and data visualisation skills to deliver product reports and insights.
