* Collaborate with various departments and work units to identify and mitigate risks, proactively implement safety programs, and provide ongoing education.
This role is pivotal in influencing and embedding safety initiatives while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate and provide front-line support and advice within a partnership model.
* Embed and implement best practice safety principles within a complex workplace environment.
* Provide front-line support in relation to relevant advice, interpretation, and guidance to stakeholders in the application of WHS compliance obligations.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
* Tertiary qualifications in Safety or a relevant discipline.
* Demonstrated commitment to stakeholder relationships.
* Proven experience in health and safety management.
* Exceptional problem-solving ability with an interest in high-risk activities.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of well-defined risk assessments and their associated benefits. You will also have confidence in your professional work experiences and exposure to build safety capability and forge open communication channels with a wide variety of stakeholders.
