We are seeking an experienced NV1 cleared Facilities Manager to lead facilities planning and capability sustainment activities supporting a major Defence program. You will integrate estate works into sustainment planning, oversee contractor performance, and ensure facilities align with capability, governance, and operational requirements. This role operates in a complex, high‐stake environment and requires confident engagement across Defence, industry partners, and regional stakeholders.
What will I be doing day to day
* Responsible for the development, review and execution of the Defence facilities management plan in collaboration with the prime contractor.
* Responsible for Review and Moderation of key Facilities related CDRLs including the Facilities Plan and the Facilities Requirements Analysis Report.
* Responsible for the application of Asset Management (ISO55000) principles to facilities.
* Develop and coordinate governance and management plans, documents and applicable contract changes to meet the requirements of the Joint Base Accountabilities Framework.
* Understanding of key programmatic inter-dependencies associated with Facilities and development of key mitigation methodologies to overcome imminent risks.
* Utilisation of data analytics to support endorsement of contractor proposals and analysis.
* Analyse and interpret sustainment performance against agreed plans and develop and evaluate strategies to achieve support outcomes.
What sort of skills do I need
* Excellent communication skills and ability to operate in high‐pressure environments.
* Experience in Facilities management in Defence, especially in regional areas.
* Must hold a minimum NV1 security clearance and be an Australian citizen.
* Analyze and interpret sustainment performance against agreed plans and develop and evaluate strategies to achieve support outcomes.
