Role Summary
This role requires a skilled and dedicated professional to lead the Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) team in providing high-quality care and supervision to students. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and social well-being of children.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the OSHC team to deliver daily activities that are safe, fun, stimulating, and carry educational value.
* Maintain a strong focus on child safety, mandatory reporting, and staff supervision.
* Prepare and serve healthy food options that meet the nutritional needs of students.
* Build meaningful connections with staff, students, and families within the college community.
Requirements:
* Hold a Certificate IV, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Children's Services, Early Childhood, School Aged Care, or equivalent.
* Hold a current Employee Working With Children Check (Blue Card).
* Be an Australian Citizen, permanent resident, or have an appropriate permit to work in Australia.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to develop and implement safe and engaging programs for children.
* Strong knowledge of child development principles and practices.
* High level of organisational and time management skills.
