Position Overview:
Working throughout the metro area and beyond, we are looking for an energetic team player who is experienced in working with Irrigation and Reticulation systems both in commercial and domestic fields for an IMMEDIATE START
Reporting to the Irrigation Supervisor your primary responsibility will be to assist in the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of a range of pump and irrigation systems. You will be competent in repairing reticulation as well as trouble shooting system faults, in addition to this, you will have practical experience working alone and be able to use your judgement on site to correctly solve difficult situations.
Key responsibilities:
* Diagnose, solve, and carry out works to meet the need of our clients as required.
* Maintenance and repair of existing irrigation systems and associated infrastructure.
* Carry out scheduled testing & audits, valve servicing, mainline & lateral line repairs.
* Programming of controllers and establishing of systems.
* Assisting the broader landscape maintenance team as required.
Qualifications:
* Working with Two Wire and SD Systems together with Irritrol mc plus controllers, Rain Bird MCD controllers, Hunter node VWC Hunter ACC - SD systems and cable locating.
* Must be familiar with and have the ability to read plans.
* Experienced in irrigation and pump installation preferred but not essential.
* A current C Class drivers licence is mandatory.
* Effective time management.
* White Card.
