The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Disability Support Worker to support a customer located in Trafalgar. Each day may look a little different, but your work will be centred around supporting daily living tasks, enabling them to live an independent life. You will be responsible for:
1. Providing support in everyday activities around the home
2. Supporting personal care, hygiene and grooming
3. Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
4. Assisting with medication compliance which may include dispensation of prescription medication
5. Meal assistance which may include meal preparation
6. Assistance with bowel care
To be successful in this role, you will have:
1. At least one year's experience as a Disability Support Worker
2. NDIS Clearance, First Aid & National police clearance - or willingness to obtain
3. Experience with manual handling or physical disabilities
4. A valid Australian Drivers License (minimum P2)
