Are you a reliable and physically fit labourer looking for ongoing, full-time hours with the potential to go permanent?
We are currently seeking General Labourers and Skilled Labourers with Forklift Licences (or willingness to obtain) to join a busy and well-established steel manufacturing operation in Pinkenba .
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team with steady hours, overtime, and weekend work during peak periods.
What's On Offer
* Immediate start with Monday to Friday hours
* Casual role with the opportunity to go permanent after 6 months (based on performance)
* Ongoing work with potential for overtime and weekend shifts
* Both day and afternoon shifts available
Shift Times:
* Day Shift: 5:00am - 1:00pm (plus overtime & weekends)
* Afternoon Shift: 1:00pm - 9:00pm (plus overtime & weekends)
Your duties will include:
* Forklift operation (if licensed)
* Manual handling of steel products
* Hand wiring and strapping
* Use of hand and power tools
* General labouring tasks
What you need to be successful:
* Current Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain)
* Own PPE: long sleeve hi-vis shirt, long pants, steel cap lace-up boots
* Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 25kg
* Able to perform repetitive manual tasks
* Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
