We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to join our team at the Cattlemans Country Motor Inn in Dubbo, New South Wales.
This position is all evening work - so no split shifts.
You are paid hourly for every hour, including all penalties and weekends.
As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
This is a full-time role, offering opportunity to work in a friendly, dynamic environment.
What you'll be doing
Preparing and cooking a variety of meals for our guests, adhering to high food safety and hygiene standards
Collaborating with the kitchen team to create innovative menu items and specials
Ensuring efficient and timely meal preparation and service
Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
Assisting with inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies
Providing exceptional customer service and contributing to a positive guest experience
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years' experience as a chef in a similar role within the hospitality industry
Formal culinary training or relevant qualifications
Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and food safety regulations
Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
Passion for creating delicious, high-quality meals
