About the opportunity
In this position you will be responsible for:
* Overseeing the development, maintenance and operations of relevant systems and resources and recommending improvements to processes and procedures
* Developing and interpreting legislation, regulations, procedures and other guideline material relating to the financial operations of the school
* Preparing and maintaining procurement activities, including overseeing budget administration and related activities
* Reviewing, developing and implementing processes and systems that enable effective financial management consistent with the school's strategic and operational objectives
* Supervising and training support staff as required
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience, including:
* Proven ability to oversee and improve systems and resources
* Strong understanding of financial legislation, regulations and procedures
* Experience in managing procurement and budget administration
* Skills in developing and implementing effective financial management processes
* Leadership ability to supervise and train support staff
* Tertiary qualification at Diploma level in Finance or a related field
* No requirement to be Catholic for this position

Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.
