The Logistics Coordinator position is responsible for the storage and distribution activities domestically. In this role you will ensure that the right products are delivered to the right location on time and on budget. You will be involved in warehousing, freight and distribution, stock control, and monitoring the flow of goods. This role is also responsible for the day to day relationship with the third party logistics (3PL) provider.
This is how you WOW:
Daily Operations
Lead the effective daily coordination of domestic logistics activities with our nominated 3PL providers and freight carriers.
Maintain and monitor the performance of domestic logistics service providers to ensure cost and service levels are being adhered to.
Be the communication link between Kärcher staff and 3PL operations to ensure clear communication and resolution of all issues and enquiries, escalating internally as appropriate.
Work proactively to problem solve with internal and external stakeholders, taking the lead to identify and close out matters of performance.
Work in conjunction with nominated 3PL to schedule and process inbound goods within KPI targets, inclusive of Container Freight and Air Freight.
Support the Inventory Controller to ensure inventory optimisation through suitable processes and controls, inclusive of cycle counting, stock adjustments, and suitable master data.
Assist with event and promotional management.
Coordinate the export process, ensuring accurate paperwork and management of freight requirements.
Own and manage DIFOT for all 3PL outbound freight.
Coordinate any work such as re-plugging, pre-delivery (PD), re-packing etc, with 3PL to ensure compliance and timely completion.
Collaboration and Oversight
Provide oversight and accountability of 3PL ensuring KPI's and daily activities are carried out in conjunction with Kärcher requirements.
Maintain an error log, ensure all electronic interfaces are working to allow effective information flow.
Support review of financial reporting and related invoices queries and validation.
Using the data provided, generate KPI reporting to monitor performance of 3PL provider and provide performance insights.
Attend regular 3PL performance meetings to both work collaboratively and hold to account 3PL performance in order to drive ongoing performance improvement.
Perform duties via the 3PL site for 1-2 days per week to monitor activities in-person and build effective working relationships with 3PL teams.
Monitor 5S standards and advise Kärcher and 3PL Provider of status to ensure standard is upheld.
Be an active continuous improvement (CI) advocate, and drive CI initiatives with 3PL providers, freight carriers, and Kärcher team for enhanced service outcomes and Reduced Cost Of Doing Business (RCODB).
Play an active role in contributing to the success of the Supply Chain and broader Kärcher team.

Experience working with, and leading performance outcomes with 3PL service providers.
Exposure to warehousing and operations, including freight activities.
Experience in management of data and spreadsheets.
Conversant with WMS and ERP systems.
A tertiary qualification, APICS or supply chain industry qualification is desirable.
