Trade Development and Training Specialist
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering training on Tasmania's trade-ready tourism offering to travel industry partners.
About the Role:
* As a Trade Development and Training Specialist, you will create, coordinate and support the delivery of training programs to travel trade partners, including inbound tour operators, online travel agents, retail travel agencies, wholesalers and more.
* You will provide central coordination of travel trade inquiries and referrals, as well as pathways to relevant training programs.
* You will also be responsible for coordinating and managing Tasmanian tourism industry participation to support training content development and foster connections between industry and training audiences.
* Your key responsibilities will include supporting the delivery of trade training program activities, logistics, event management, training components, follow-ups and reporting.
* You will administer the trade training program calendar, update databases, advise on scheduling clashes and provide insightful reporting on training outcomes.
Responsibilities:
1. Create and deliver high-quality training content to meet the evolving needs of the travel trade.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training gaps and develop effective solutions.
3. Maintain accurate records and reports on training program performance.
4. Coordinate logistics and event management for training events.
5. Foster strong relationships with industry partners and stakeholders.

* Proven experience in trade development, training or a related field.
