**About the role**:
We are currently seeking
**experienced machine operators** - based in
**Windsor Sydney** area, to work for an innovative and progressive organisation specialising in manufacturing and design, Interviewing
**now Start ASAP**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Ensure that the line runs efficiently and productively; coordinate tasks so that the line runs as continuously as possible
- Complete changeover of production equipment such as Filling, Capping & Labelling with accuracy and in a set time
- Troubleshoot and adjust equipment during the run to achieve optimum output and mínimal downtime minimise wastage
- Set up filling and packing equipment and strip down, clean and reassemble filling equipment to produce a quality product as efficiently as possible
- Monitor the quality of product throughout the filling run and make appropriate adjustments to maintain quality and compliance
- Be able to operate and maintain equipment safely and change parts in a clean and orderly manner
- Sets up and operates filling machine.
- Labels containers, as needed. Makes boxes.
- Makes boxes and packs products, as needed.
- Able to lift 15kg on occasion throughout work shift
- Ability to work independent, limited supervision
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to complete required safety training and maintain excellent housekeeping
- Ability to work in a team environment and take ownership of responsibilities and follow instructions of leadership team
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
**Key Skills & Requirements**:
- Prior work experience in a Manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Must be able to work in factory conditions including handling strong chemical smells and
- At least two years' experience in Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic, Food, Beverage, Chemical, Packaging, or other FMCG industry is desirable but not essential.
- Experience with setting up (and adjusting for changeovers) and / or cleaning of packaging machinery on a production line a must
