As a Horticultural Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep of lawns, gardens, courtyards, and landscaped areas by performing tasks such as plant propagation, operating horticultural machinery, and managing irrigation systems.
You will also identify and control pests and diseases, apply specialized fertilizers and treatments, and contribute to the maintenance of horticultural equipment and facilities.
Beyond grounds keeping, you will play a vital role in supporting social and therapeutic horticulture programs for patients. This involves designing and implementing innovative programs that cater to the unique needs of each patient.
