As an Electronics Engineer – Cyber Systems in the Air Force, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that the Air Force's technology, networks and cyberspace systems are operating effectively and capable of supporting exercises and missions. You'll be responsible for managing application and network architecture, as well as communication, mission support, data, ground-based radar, space, satellite and information warfare systems.
Your duties may include:
* Operational Engineering - leading technicians to maintain and configure communications and cyberspace systems for daily missions
* Sustainment Engineering - modifying, upgrading and ensuring the continued effectiveness of Air Force networks
* Project Engineering - applying project management skills to acquire and introduce new Air Force aircraft and equipment that suits Australia's needs
* Safety Engineering - securing and protecting Air Force cyberspace systems by investigating incidents and managing training.

Salary
Upon completion of initial military and employment training, you will enjoy a salary package starting from $99,995.
Location
Following training, you may be posted to one of the major Air Force bases around Australia, such as RAAF Base Amberley, Williamtown, or Edinburgh.

For this role, you must be at least 17 at the time of enlistment, an Australian Citizen, and have completed or are in your final year of a Bachelor of Engineering in one of the areas listed in the position description below.
