This is an exceptional opportunity to drive business growth in the community pharmacy sector. As a strategic and consultative Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving membership growth across NSW.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or membership recruitment, ideally within or closely aligned to the community pharmacy sector. A strong understanding of the industry and its challenges is essential to effectively communicate with pharmacists and pharmacy owners.
* Proactively acquire new members and retain existing ones through consultative engagement.
* Build trusted relationships with pharmacy owners, stakeholders, and internal teams.
* Communicate the value proposition and promote Guild services and membership benefits.
* Coordinate events and forums to generate new member leads.
* Support CRM and data updates, pipeline tracking, and lead conversion.
To qualify, you will need a pharmacy background or deep understanding of the industry. Additional skills and qualifications highly valued include:
* Ability to build rapport and trust with a technically knowledgeable audience.
* Strong communication skills with a balance of warmth, humility, and precision.
* Proven ability to achieve and exceed targets.
* A consultative and empathetic approach to handling objections.
Benefits Package
This role offers a competitive total remuneration package, including a base salary, employer superannuation contribution, bonus, and not-for-profit salary packaging.
* Base salary: $100,000 per annum (negotiable beyond for an exceptional candidate).
* Employer superannuation contribution.
* Bonus of up to $22,400.
* Not-for-profit salary packaging through Maxxia (up to $15,900 tax-free per year).
