Role Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Production Engineer to oversee and optimise our production processes, including laser cutting, press bending, and general fabrication operations. The successful candidate will ensure manufacturing efficiency, quality control, and compliance with safety standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
● Plan, develop, and oversee production processes for laser cutting, press bending, and fabrication operations.
● Monitor workflow and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality.
● Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure accurate and cost-effective production.
● Implement quality control procedures and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
● Prepare production reports, schedules, and documentation.
● Troubleshoot production issues and recommend solutions.
Skills and Experience Required:
● Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field.
● Minimum 1 year of experience in production engineering, preferably within laser cutting, press bending, or fabrication industries.
● Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery, and quality management systems.
● Proficiency in production planning software and CAD/CAM systems.
● Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills.
● Knowledge of Australian WHS regulations is preferred.
Salary: $78,000 per annum plus superannuation
