Valley Village Early Learning Centre is seeking an experienced and passionate Nominated Supervisor / Centre Director to lead our service with integrity, vision, and faith.
Valley Village ELC operates alongside Maitland Christian School, offering a faith-based early learning program where children are nurtured academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. We value an authentic expression of Christian faith that is actively demonstrated through daily educational practice.
About the Role
This is a pivotal leadership role for a strong relational leader who values people, leads with purpose, and brings the confidence to champion continuous improvement while upholding excellence in compliance and quality practice.
In this executive leadership role, you will:
Exercise statutory responsibility as Nominated Supervisor, ensuring strategic alignment with the National Quality Framework
Provide visionary, people-centred leadership that builds capability, accountability, and a strong professional culture
Strategically embed a Christ-centred ethos across educational practice, leadership, and community engagement
Oversee governance, compliance, and risk management to ensure excellence in regulatory and quality outcomes
Lead a culture of continuous improvement, informed by data, reflective practice, and collaborative decision-making
Strengthen high-trust partnerships with families, the broader school community, and key stakeholders
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Is a committed Christian who is passionate about seeing faith integrated into education
Is a people-focused leader who builds trust, accountability, and culture
Has proven experience as a Centre Director and/or Nominated Supervisor (or is ready to step into the role)
Is confident navigating compliance, governance, and quality improvement
Can lead teams through change with clarity, courage, and compassion
Holds (or is eligible for) required ACEQCA-approved qualifications (degree or diploma)
