Senior Veterinary Anesthetist – Academic Position
This is an exciting opportunity for a veterinarian with specialist qualifications in veterinary anesthesia and analgesia to join our team in academia.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced veterinarian who can provide leadership and excellence in clinical service delivery and teaching of anaesthesia to our students.
The successful candidate will contribute to teaching in our programs through course coordination, lectures, tutorials, practicals, and clinical rotations. They will also provide advanced anaesthesia services to our clinicians in both the Companion Animal and Large Animal (primarily equine) Hospitals.
Working in a clinical training environment for final year veterinary students, you will have the opportunity to make an important contribution to the education of the next generation of veterinarians by involving students in case management and modelling the highest standards of clinical excellence and professional behaviour.

To be successful in this position, you will need:
* Specialist qualifications in veterinary anesthesia and analgesia;
* Qualification in veterinary science acceptable for registration with the relevant veterinary surgeons board;
* Proven ability to contribute independently to a clinical service in veterinary anesthesia and analgesia;
* Evidence of significant contributions to teaching at tertiary level;
* Evidence of strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of clinical, teaching, and research teams.
