Direct Care Assistance (DCA), a leading NDIS service provider, is currently seeking an experienced female Disability Support Worker to deliver high-quality care to a complex client based in the Highton area, supporting them with a range of individual needs.
As a Support Care Worker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the client’s quality of life and overall well-being. This role requires commitment, reliability, and the ability to provide personalised care tailored to the client's specific and complex requirements.

* Shifts: 24/7 shift (regular ongoing shift)

What are we looking for?
* Strong background in mental health
* Able to work under pressure and manage complex behaviours
* Creative, hands-on, and proactive in promoting participant engagement
* Experienced in dealing with clients with behavior of concerns.
* Critical thinker with a positive attitude
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Knowledgeable in writing progress notes
* Must have your own car, a valid Victorian Driver’s Licence, and Comprehensive Car Insurance
What You'll be doing? (Essential Duties)
* Assist with personal care tasks such as showering, toileting, and dressing
* Demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills
* Collaborate on care plans, risk assessments, reviews, and incident/accident reports
* Support the client’s daily routines and activities
* Facilitate community access and engagement
* Participate in both in-house and external activities
* Adhere to company policies and procedures
