Opportunity
Extend, part of The Extend Group, is looking for an OSHC Service Assistant at Peter Carnley Anglican Community School in Calista to play, teach, and take care of children in a safe learning environment during Outside School Hours Care. The successful applicant will also be flexible to travel to nearby schools in the region.
Role
Before School Care 06:25 AM – 08:25 AM
After School Care 2:45 PM – 6:00 PM
Monday to Friday
Vacation Care program with up to 6-hour shifts during school holidays
Assist in delivering daily quality activities for children that are safe, fun, stimulating, and carry educational value
Supervise and support children
Prepare and serve healthy food options
Create an engaging and happy environment for children
Build meaningful relationships with colleagues, children, families, school leaders, and the school community
About You
Engaging and warm personality
Strong focus on child safety and compliance with mandatory reporting
Excellent communication and people skills
Certificate III or higher in Children's Services, Early Childhood, School-aged Care (or studying toward) or equivalent
Working with Children Check (willing to obtain)
First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training (or willing to obtain)
Child Protection Training Certificate
