The Role
As a Mechanical Labourer, you’ll be responsible for the assembly & fit out of special purpose vehicles within a manufacturing environment. You’ll work as part of a small team, contributing to multiple major upcoming projects. The role offers autonomy, variety, and the chance to develop your technical skills.
Duties
- Assemble and fit out vehicle bodies and components
- Read and interpret plans and technical drawings with strong numerical skill set
- Use hand and power tools for mechanical and electrical assembly
- Work independently and collaboratively within small teams
- Maintain a safe and organised work setting
Skills & Experience
- Tinkering skillset; hands-on experience highly valued such as experience working on caravans, trucks, or vans
- Mechanically minded, with experience in assembly, air conditioning, electrical, or technical work highly regarded
- Trade qualification or vehicle building experience advantageous although not essential
This role would be well suited to someone with a background in auto electrical, vehicle building, motor mechanics, fitters, or refrigeration mechanics.
Additional Requirements
