Job Advertisement- Administration Assistant
Position: Permanent part time
Hours: 21.5 Hours per week, Wednesday 8am-3pm, Thursday & Friday 8am-4pm
There may be opportunity to work extra hours from time to time.
Location: Nowra, NSW
Award: Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services (SCHADS) Industry Award 2010, Level 2, Paypoint 1 to 4
The Administration Assistant is responsible for providing a range of effective and efficient administrative support and preparing and organising client outings for older people with low-level support needs.
This position requires attention to detail and accuracy, as well as strong abilities in administration, communication, and managing tight time frames.
The role involves:
1. Planning, preparing and organising fortnightly group outings for clients.
2. Providing a range of administrative services including using electronic rostering and client management systems, records management, answering phones, meeting minutes, assisting with rostering coverage, and updating Client Care plans.
3. Collecting and compiling information for quarterly client newsletters and outings.
4. Completing routine financial transactions such as invoicing and petty cash reconciliations.
5. Responding to enquiries and escalating and redirecting issues as required.
About You: We are looking for someone who has excellent attention to detail and accuracy, a passion for community, a positive attitude, and is reliable and committed to making a difference in the lives of our community. You should have:
1. Certificate III in Administration or equivalent or current relevant experience.
2. 1 years' experience in a customer-focused role.
3. 1 years' experience in an administration role.
4. Experience using Office 365.
5. Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm.

Appointments are subject to reference checks and the following checks and clearances:
1. NDIS Worker screening check and/or National Criminal History Record Check.
2. Not listed on the Aged Care Register of banning orders.
Successful applicants must also have:
1. Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use own vehicle with full comprehensive insurance cover for work purposes.
2. Minimum of 2 approved COVID-19 vaccinations or a medical exemption.
