Traffic Infrastructure Planner Role
As a Traffic Infrastructure Planner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the city's transportation infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough traffic assessments, developing and reviewing designs for signs and traffic management devices, and analyzing traffic flow to ensure compliance with stringent standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive traffic assessments for development applications and infrastructure projects
* Develop and review designs for signs, markings, and traffic calming devices to optimize traffic flow
* Analyze traffic patterns, parking demand, and pedestrian activity to guarantee compliance with regulatory requirements
Essential Qualifications:
* A minimum of 12 months' experience in a similar Traffic Engineer role within local government
* A relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field
