The Role
We're seeking a hands‐on Data Engineer to join a consulting engagement, delivering data solutions for a large enterprise client. You'll build and scale pipelines on GCP, working closely with client stakeholders in a fast‐paced, delivery‐focused environment.
What You'll Do
* Design and build scalable data pipelines on GCP
* Deliver real‐time and batch processing using Pub/Sub
* Model and optimise data in BigQuery for analytics use cases
* Work directly with client teams to understand requirements and deliver outcomes
* Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability across pipelines
* Troubleshoot issues and continuously improve data workflows
What You Bring
* Strong GCP experience (Pub/Sub, BigQuery essential)
* Solid SQL + Python (or similar)
* Experience delivering in consulting or client‐facing roles
* Proven ability to build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines
* Comfortable working in enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders
