Procurement and Risk Management Specialist
This role focuses on strengthening supplier risk management across the enterprise, enhancing supplier risk capability, and embedding best practices. The goal is to ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements.
Your key responsibilities include:
* Leading strategic risk uplift projects and enterprise-wide initiatives to improve supplier risk management.
* Developing processes, tools, and controls that enhance supplier risk management and reduce risks.
* Providing expert advice on supplier risk queries and initiatives to stakeholders.
* Collaborating with multiple risk and governance teams to embed effective risk practices and ensure consistency.
* Identifying emerging risk trends and tracking progress on supplier risk maturity through data analysis and reporting.
This is a full-time role based in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in procurement, supplier risk, or third-party risk management, a strong understanding of risk frameworks, governance, and regulatory requirements, excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities, analytical mindset, and passion for building capability and driving cultural change.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Bridging the gap between business needs and risk management requirements.
2. Improving supplier risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
3. Developing training programs to enhance local risk champions' capabilities.
4. Partnering with Group Risk to provide actionable insights via dashboards and reports.
