Role Overview
You will work for a leading not‑for‑profit organisation that promotes a positive work life balance and flexible working arrangements. The role is open to new graduates or early‑career podiatrists keen to join a multidisciplinary team providing care to community‑based adults and ageing customers, with in‑centre clinic visits and occasional home visits.
Responsibilities
* Clinic based role servicing community clients, undertaking home visits where necessary.
* Receive supervision with a senior podiatrist and regular support from the AH Podiatry Discipline Lead.
* Build community caseload for exposure to varied and complex clients.
* Potential to build and grow your Podiatry service within the geographic locations.
* Manage your own case load with realistic productivity targets.
* Flexibility in days and hours.
Qualifications
* Current Australian Driver’s Licence – Essential.
* Roadworthy & insured vehicle (Third Party Property minimum) – Essential.
* Current AHPRA registration and unlimited work entitlements – Essential.
* Willingness to work within Blue Care’s Philosophy, Policies and Procedures and the Uniting Church of Australia.
* Proficiency in Podiatry assessment and treatment of community dwelling customers with a wide range of needs, including aged care, disability, and health and wellbeing.
* Proficiency in appropriate documenting and accurate record‑keeping into computer programs.
* High level of verbal and written communication skills, particularly in establishing and maintaining rapport with staff, customers and their carers.
* Ability to work effectively as a multi‑disciplinary team member.
* Ability to prioritise and manage individual caseload while meeting service and customer needs.
* Ability to recognise other needs that Blue Care can assist customers with and provide relevant and timely referrals.
* Confidence to satisfy relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
