Job Summary:
Availability to work:
Monday to Sunday: Evening, Afternoon, Morning
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience required
Expected salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year
Responsibilities:
Oversee planning, coordination, and execution of special events and private functions, including weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings.
Work closely with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budgets.
Create event proposals, contracts, and agreements, including menu, pricing, and terms.
Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and service staff for seamless event execution, including staffing and scheduling.
Manage event timelines, setup, and breakdown to ensure smooth operation.
Provide excellent customer service and support throughout the planning process.
Collaborate with marketing to promote events and generate sales leads.
Conduct site visits and tours for prospective clients.
Maintain an event calendar and booking schedule for maximum utilization.
Track sales and revenue goals, reporting to management.
Qualifications:
Experience in event planning, hospitality management, or related field.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented and resourceful.
Flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software preferred.

Wages:
Based on Restaurant Industry Award 2023 Standards:
Full-Time: Salary based on minimum 38 hours/week, with leave accrued pro-rata, depending on experience.
