About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Trainer Assessor to join our Sustainability team, where you will play an integral part in improving training and assessments for our underground operations.
This is a key role within our organization, requiring a strong background in training and assessment. You will be responsible for conducting daily liaison with underground personnel, delivering training programs, and assessing competencies.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Trainer Assessor in underground mining operations, with a proven track record of successful training delivery. Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills are essential, with a focus on promoting a 'Safety First' culture.
Responsibilities
* Daily liaison with underground personnel, conducting training and competency assessments.
* Actively participating in the integrity of training records, matrixes, and needs analysis.
* Reporting on activities and finalizing records within set timelines.
* Liaising with the Senior Training Advisor for external service provider training needs.
* Assisting with maintaining the training budgets and ensuring procedures comply with government regulations.
About You
You will be either FIFO or resident in the local Kalgoorlie area, available to work an 8:6 (12-hour day) roster. To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong autonomous working skills, planning, and scheduling the delivery of your programs and assessments.
The following qualifications and experience are required:
* Formal qualification and/or extensive experience with underground operations.
* Cert IV assessor (mandatory) or Cert IV TAE40116 - Certificate IV training and assessment (desirable).
* Western Australian Drivers Licence - Open Class.
* Permit to Work, Working at Heights, Confined Spaces.
