**About the Company**
Our client offers healthcare services across a variety of domains, including hospital, aged care and mental health programs. With sites across all of Australia, they are looking for a Group Procurement Manager to drive a team of 8 in the effective delivery of the procurement & supply chain operations.
**About the Role**
Reporting to the CFO and with 5 direct reports, our client is looking for someone to bring their prior experience and innovative mindset to work at a strategic level in identifying process improvements, streamline processes and identify cost-saving opportunities.
**Starting ASAP** to allow a full handover, this is a **12-month fixed term contract **with potential to extend/convert permanent. They offer a hybrid model of Monday-Friday, **3 days in office + 2 from home per week**, with flexibility on hours.
**Duties**
Some of your duties will include:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the Procurement & Supply Chain services
- Contribute to the development of a procurement strategy across the organisation
- Focus on cost reduction/optimization activities, while meeting the business units' requirements
- Manage the tendering process for the function
- Undertake category management activities including portfolio strategic planning, development of category spend analytics, supplier relationship management & performance reviews
**Skills & Experience**
- Previous experience working at a strategic level within Procurement
- Previous experience managing a team/having a direct report
- Previous experience driving and implementing improved procurement processes
- Previous experience with Technology One - **desirable**:
- Be immediately available to start work
