The Role
We're seeking a Senior Maintenance Planner to lead site wide planning across a mining operation. The role is predominantly focused on HME, but also provides direction and oversight to CHPP and fixed plant planning. You'll lead the planning and scheduling function, ensuring work is planned safely, accurately and aligned with operational priorities. You'll also act as the site SAP SME, lifting planning standards, improving data quality and driving better execution outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
* Leading planning and scheduling activities across the entire site
* Setting planning standards, workflows and governance processes
* Supporting and guiding a team of planners and schedulers
* Overseeing planning across HME, CHPP and site infrastructure
* Acting as the site SAP planning SME
* Improving SAP usage, data quality and planning maturity
* Supporting cost control, budgeting and forecasting activities
* Aligning maintenance plans with production and operational priorities
* Leading planning forums and shutdown readiness
What You'll Bring
* Extensive maintenance planning experience in mining or heavy industry
* Advanced SAP CMMS capability
* Strong leadership experience across planning or scheduling teams
* Experience across HME, with exposure to fixed plant or CHPP preferred
* Strong understanding of cost control, budgeting and forecasting
* Ability to operate at a site wide, strategic level
* Must have the right to work in Australia
