Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Assistant to join our team in Brisbane. As a Relief Legal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting firm operations, covering annual and personal leave for the wider Legal Assistant cohort, and providing overflow assistance to teams during busy peak periods.
About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity to gain experience across all legal and shared services teams. Some of your general duties will include:
* Providing exceptional secretarial support for various general administration tasks;
* Supporting the firm's shared services teams as required;
* Proactive diary management and meeting coordination for clients, key industry stakeholders and internal management;
* Coordination of travel arrangements;
* Document drafting, amendment, management and dictation;
* Ensuring a seamless handover is provided to other Legal Assistants.
Key Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, you will be a motivated and enthusiastic professional with at least one year of administrative experience in a professional services environment. Prior experience in the legal industry will be advantageous and a proactive attitude and commitment to supporting busy teams will set you apart.
