Overview
Are you an ex-tradie, workshop person or DIY enthusiast looking for a change of pace? If you have a solid knowledge of nuts and bolts, workshop supplies and power tools - we'd love to meet you!
About the Role
You'll be working on the floor of our busy trade hardware and engineering supplies store, helping customers with practical advice and product knowledge.
Your daily duties will include:
* Selling nuts and bolts, power tools and workshop supplies
* Using expert knowledge to help customers solve problems
* Keeping the store and displays tidy and stocked
* Unpacking stock, invoicing goods in, and dispatching orders
* Learning about new products and industry trends
About You
Ideally, you'll have a mix of the following:
* Hands-on experience with nuts and bolts, tools and workshop gear
* Basic understanding of imperial and metric systems
* Proactive, friendly and approachable nature
* Reliability and good attention to detail
* Basic computer skills
It's a bonus (but not essential) if you have:
* A forklift licence
* Retail or customer service experience
