Position Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Enrolled Nurse (EN) to join our team in Dubbo and the wider Orana region. Working under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality nursing care to clients with diverse clinical and support needs.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide safe, person-centred nursing care under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse
· Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans based on individual client needs
· Perform clinical tasks within scope of practice, including medication administration, wound care, observations, and basic procedures
· Monitor client health status, identify changes, and escalate concerns appropriately
· Support clients with activities of daily living including hygiene, mobility, and nutritional needs
· Accurately document all care provided and clinical observations in patient records and electronic systems
· Maintain infection prevention and control standards and contribute to a safe care environment
· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of care
· Provide compassionate communication, emotional support, and education to clients and families
· Participate in quality improvement activities, training, and compliance with organisational policies and procedures
Skills and Experience Required:
· Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent/higher.
· Minimum of 2 years' relevant post-qualification experience
· Current National Police Check and relevant sector screening checks (e.g. NDIS Worker Screening, where required)
· Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate
· Strong understanding of person-centred care principles
· Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call as required
· Valid Australian driver's licence and access to a reliable, registered vehicle
