The Role As the Applications Solutions Specialist, you will design and deliver fit-for-purpose application solutions using enterprise and business systems, with a strong focus on the Microsoft stack and Dynamics 365. You will work across the full application lifecycle - onboarding, enhancement, optimisation and decommissioning - ensuring solutions are secure, governed and aligned to agreed support models. You will act as a key liaison between business areas, technology teams and vendors, translating business needs into practical system solutions that improve services and user experience. You will also embed governance, risk and compliance considerations in every solution, including information security, privacy and accessibility requirements. Your Profile You are an experienced applications specialist or business systems analyst with at least 5 years' experience working across enterprise applications in complex environments. You bring strong functional knowledge of Microsoft platforms (including Dynamics 365 and Microsoft 365), configuration options, workflows and user experience design. You are comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels to capture requirements, challenge assumptions and recommend pragmatic solutions that balance usability, risk and technical constraints. What is required from you Work with business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into effective, fit-for-purpose application solutions. Provide functional expertise across enterprise and business applications, particularly Microsoft stack and Dynamics 365, including configuration, workflows and user experience. Act as the liaison between business units, internal technology teams and vendors to design, deliver and support solutions that align with system capabilities. Contribute across the application lifecycle, including onboarding, enhancements, optimisation and decommissioning, aligned to technology standards and support models. Ensure solutions are supportable, with clear ownership, escalation paths and operational support requirements. Embed governance, risk, security, privacy and compliance considerations into solution design in line with organisational policies and standards. Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to enhance application usage, configuration, integration, efficiency and user experience. Plan and support change, including training and communication activities, to drive adoption of new or improved solutions.
