An exciting new opportunity has become available for a Facilities and Maintenance Manager. This busy and rewarding role will see you oversee maintenance services across all sites in the Northern Territory.
You will ensure that sites operate to legislative standards and maintain safety standards for residents, visitors, staff, and contractors. In addition, you will provide guidance and support to major projects such as new developments, refurbishments, and upgrades.
As the successful candidate, you will bring a background and knowledge of local contractors and suppliers. You will be up to date with WHS and Emergency legislation and be able to demonstrate a solid career in trades. You will have expertise in facility and asset management and be able to support with auditing, record keeping, and policy around safe working practices.
In addition, you will be a supportive and approachable team member. You will be able to manage sites remotely and be comfortable when required to travel to remote areas of the Northern Territory.
Salary
This role attracts a gross base salary of $130,000 plus salary packaging options.
This role also offers up to $5,000 incl GST relocation assistance.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, we will be looking at the following experience and qualifications:
* The ability to develop and implement procedures and guidelines to ensure consistent and effective service delivery from internal and external providers.
* Broad understanding of building and building services related legislation, regulations, and standards.
* Understanding of relevant workplace health and safety regulations and continuous quality improvement practices.
* Experience in delivering services through a broad contractor/subcontractor base and ensuring appropriate performance of contractors in delivering high-quality outcomes.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver quality and on-time outcomes within allocated budgets.
* Effective interpersonal and written communication skills, including strong stakeholder management skills and well-developed computer skills.
* Understanding of computer-based maintenance management systems (CMMS), and the effective delivery of maintenance management services;
* Availability to work after hours on an 'On-Call' roster, or 'Call Out' basis.
* Available to travel to facilities across the NT when required.
