Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Centre Director to lead our Childcare Centre located in Liverpool.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management, leadership, and administration of the centre, ensuring a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for both children and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining high standards of quality.
Foster a love for learning and creativity among children through engaging activities.
Build and maintain positive relationships with parents, ensuring open communication and involvement.
Represent the centre in the local community, establishing partnerships and promoting the centre's values.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and support professional growth.
Manage the budget effectively, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Prioritize the health and safety of all children in care.
Assist with daily campus operations and room tasks such as activity preparation and mealtimes.
Lead the planning and implementation of the educational program, valuing each child's holistic development.
Provide leadership, guidance, and support to educators within the service.
Maintain ongoing records of children's development, program activities, and daily information.
Ensure high-quality service delivery in line with National Quality Standards and government regulations.
Qualifications and Skills
Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
Minimum two years' experience as a Centre Director in an early childhood setting.
Current paid Working with Children Check, First Aid & CPR certifications.
National Police Check (within the last 6 months).
Strong understanding of childcare regulations and compliance.
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to quality care.
