We are seeking an experienced Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our expanding Engineering team in Broome. In this key leadership position, you will be responsible for leading the maintenance team, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, and contributing to the achievement of a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the maintenance team, planning and overseeing scheduled maintenance activities to ensure compliance with MOE/Part 145 MOS requirements.
* Hold safety as a core value and contribute to the achievement of a zero harm and incident/injury free environment through active participation in all safety programs relevant to the position.
* Perform the duties of a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer when required.
* Ensure all aircraft maintenance, documentation, and certification is carried out and completed in line with the MOE, procedures manuals, and responsible CAMO requirements.
* Supervise maintenance personnel and support apprentices when required.
Requirements
* Experienced LAME B1/B2 or dual licensed.
* Heavy and Line maintenance experience.
* Experience leading an engineering team.
* DHC8 Classic Type Rating offered if not currently rated.
