About the Opportunity If you’re someone who believes safety and wellbeing are about more than ticking compliance boxes - if you see them as central to culture, leadership, and performance -then this is a role where you can truly lead with purpose. We’re partnering with a well-established national organisation that is undergoing an exciting period of transformation. They are investing in their people, their systems, and their future - and they’re seeking a Health & Safety Business Partner who wants to be part of shaping what comes next. This isn’t just another compliance role. This is an opportunity to contribute to a values-led business that genuinely sees safety as a strategic priority. About the Role This role sits within a collaborative People function and is focused on supporting the corporate business unit. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing systems and self-insurance accreditation, leading audit programs, risk management, and data-driven reporting. You’ll work closely with leaders and teams to embed safe, healthy, and high-performing practices across the organisation. There’s also significant opportunity to contribute to wellbeing initiatives and psychosocial risk management - areas the business is strongly committed to evolving. The role will appeal to someone who thrives on variety, has a knack for simplifying the complex, and genuinely enjoys partnering with people to drive meaningful outcomes. About You You’re technically strong, with deep knowledge of OH&S legislation, systems, and self-insurance standards - but what really drives you is your ability to build trust, influence others, and contribute to a great culture. You’re confident running audits, interpreting data, writing reports, and delivering training - but equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves and connecting with people on the ground. You bring warmth, energy, and clarity to safety conversations, and you’re someone others turn to for practical, people-first advice. You’ll bring: • A tertiary qualification in OH&S or related field (Graduate Diploma minimum) • Lead Auditor Training (NAT experience a bonus) • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment • Experience working in a complex or regulated environment • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills • A passion for proactive, risk-based approaches to safety and wellbeing About the Company Our client is a large, privately-backed Australian business whose mission is to make a meaningful difference to the health and wellbeing of communities - and that starts with their own people. With a supportive leadership team, a strong set of values, and a clear strategic vision, they offer a working environment that’s inclusive, purpose-driven and ambitious. The business is structured but agile, with national scale and room to grow. You’ll enjoy flexible working, a great team culture, and the chance to play a critical role in building a best-in-class function.
