Role Overview
As a VFX Production Coordinator in the Film & Episodic team at Framestore you will be engaging daily with VFX Artists, Leads and Supervisors to ensure the smooth running of the production workflows for high‐end visual effects shows. You will play a key role in keeping the artists' schedules on target and support the wider production team.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaising with Line Producer, Leads and Supervisors to track and manage the workflow through the departments while meeting internal and external deadlines.
* Organise dailies, rounds and meetings, taking clear and comprehensive notes and keeping the production database up to date.
* Provide clear communication between crew, including Supervisors, Leads and other members of the production team.
* Anticipate and communicate issues to Line Producer and Supervisor to resolve problems quickly.
* Maintain an accurate summary of progress from the previous day's work by artists.
* Help maintain a positive, upbeat and efficient production office, being pro‐active and solution‐oriented.
* Perform other ad‐hoc duties as reasonably expected.
Job Requirements
* Excellent organisation and time/project management skills.
* Able to work within a team towards a common goal.
* Basic understanding of live‐action and CG‐based visual effects workflows.
* Experience and knowledge of using Shotgun software.
Desirable Skills
* Previous experience at Junior Production Coordinator or Production Assistant level.
* Existing knowledge of Framestore production databases (e.g., Shotgun).
* Good knowledge of MS Office packages (including Word, Excel and Project).
* Lateral thinking skills.
