About the role
As a Food Services Assistant, you'll work with our Chef or Cook to prepare and serve nutritious, well-presented meals for residents. You'll support our Food Safety Program and help create a friendly, welcoming dining experience every day.
Key Duties
* Support menu planning to reflect residents' needs, preferences, and dietary requirements.
* Prepare, serve, and present meals and refreshments in accordance with the Food Safety Program.
* Maintain high hygiene standards through general cleaning.
* Monitor and record food safety details, including temperatures and goods received.
* Deliver meals and refreshments with a friendly and respectful approach.
* Report any food or beverage concerns to the Registered Nurse in Charge.
Essential Requirements:
* Completion of a Food Handling Course
* Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Previous experience in residential aged care feed services.
