Senior Community Physiotherapist
The Aged Care Service provides a comprehensive community-based physiotherapy service to older people with complex care needs living in the lower North Shore Area.
The Senior Physiotherapist works within a multidisciplinary team with a focus on assessment, planning, intervention and management of older people living in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
* To provide an effective and high-quality physiotherapy service as part of the Allied Health multidisciplinary team based soundly on the principles of evidence-based practice and established physiotherapy standards.
Requirements:
* Full registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia. Evidence of extensive clinical experience with a minimum at a Level 2 Physiotherapist.
* Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement activities or service evaluation process. Experience in clinical teaching and supervision of students, level 1/2 Allied Health Professionals and/or Allied Health Assistants.
* Demonstrated proficiency in ability to work autonomously with limited supervision. Have the ability to prioritise work, manage a demanding workload, apply high-level reasoning skills and have independent professional judgement.
